ART 10. - CHAPLAINS
- Each Branch shall have a chaplain, where possible, appointed/approved by the ecclesiastical authority.
- The National Executive Committee shall have a priest as National Chaplain to the Guild appointed/approved by the appropriate ecclesiastical authority.
- The National Chaplain and the Branch Chaplains shall be invited by the National Executive Committees respectively to attend their respective Committee Meetings as well as the Annual General meetings of the Guild. The National Chaplain shall also be invited to attend Extraordinary General Meetings.
- The National Chaplain and the Branch Chaplains shall be facilitated in participating at meetings but may not vote on any proposal or motion.
- The role of all Chaplains shall be to provide advice, guidance or assistance where necessary, especially in spiritual matters and in matters relating to ethical issues arising in the practice of health-care.
