ART 1. - TITLE, PATRON, MOTTO AND MEMBERSHIP

1. The Name of the association shall be Catholic Nurses Guild of Ireland.
2. The Patron shall be Our Lady Health of the Sick.
3. The Motto shall be
   • "As long as you did it to one of these, my least brethren
     You did it to me"                            (St Mathew. XXV:4O)
4. Membership of the Guild is open to all nurses and such other healthcare workers as the association may from time to time decide at its Annual General Meeting.
